Aaron Dae Mix

This mix was contributed to us by Aaron Dae, from Chicago by way of Philadelphia and, originally, Brooklyn. You can see Aaron around town at the monthly Social parties at Moonshine (4th Tuesdays, 1824 W. Division, 10pm-2am, no cover) and, coming this Wednesday November 7th, at his birthday party at I Love House Music Wednesdays @ The Note (1565 N. Milwaukee, 10pm-4am) where he'll be spinning along with DJ Mark Grant.

Though he's only been in Chicago for a couple of years, Aaron's been around the House Music scene for quite awhile, first promoting NYC spots like the Tunnel, Twilo, Sound Factory and Limelight. He first stepped behind the decks in 1994. He describes his sets as "deep, soulful, funky and spacey" that bring audiences on an aural journey. Since coming to Chicago, he's shared the stage with talents such as Derrick Carter, Miguel Migs, and Mark Grant.
