This is a song of many moods, starting out with a harsh and gritty industrial loop that immediately made me think of Spencer Kinsey, sweaty walls and the perilous fire escape up to the 500 W. Cermak lofts circa 1995. If you're the kind that runs from Tech House ­ stop and listen, because some good music is about to pass you by. It gets quite a bit more funky from there, shifting in mood to a funkier sound with a minimalist vocal loop. This track sounds to me like it draws inspiration from the Relief/Prescription era when House Music wasn't necessarily such a frowningly serious business.
