For this week's 5 Magazine mix, we're pleased to feature a DJ set by Chicago's own Leonard Part Sixx. Leonard is one of our favorite DJs and producers, with a deep love for disco and fine ear for good music that goes beyond a mere catalog of the classics. He's become well-known in the underground for his acclaimed "Underdog Edits", and also contributed his brooding Italo-influenced track "Strobe Light Revival Part 1" to Blended, our 5 Magazine new music sampler distributed at 2008's Winter Music Conference in Miami. The track was later released on T's Box Records; check it out here on traxsource.com.

For the locals, Leonard recently began a new residency every Saturday night at the newly opened Cat's Meow in Humboldt Park West Town, located at 2700 W. Chicago and open from 9pm-3am.
