This mix was recorded by House Music DJs Sean Smith and Gene Hunt on Sunday, September 23rd, as part of 5 Magazine editrix Czarina Mirani's two-venue/all-night birthday party.
Gene Hunt is a Chicago legend (and will also be profiled in the upcoming December 2007 issue of 5 Magazine), and needs no introduction; his recent track "Throwback 87", rescued from his archives, was a collaboration with Ron Hardy from "back in the day" and released on Rucksack Records out of Sweden.
Sean Smith is the founder of Smooth Agent Records and the resident at Betty's usual Sunday event, Real House Music Sundays (1600 W. Grand, 10pm-4am, no cover), as well as being a reviewer for 5 Magazine.
