I love Mary Carey. Ever since I watched her heartfelt attempts at sobriety on VH1's reality show "Celebrity Rehab", I've been rooting for her to get her shit together. There was something about her innocent looking face and occasional tears that made me feel for her. So when I hear she is to appear at Green Dolphin Monday night, I'm so there.
The last time a female pornstar came to a House night was Hillary Scott when she made an appearance at The Victor Hotel. I had left the party before she came, but from what I hear she came in totally wasted and was making out with everyone in sight.
When I get to GD at 2:30am, I hear reports of Miss Carey completely bombed out of her mind. So much for Celebrity Rehab. I eventually meet the owner of the strip club Club O, apparently she had danced there over the weekend. He introduces me and I take pictures of her and what looks like a clearly bigger chest. Huge. You go girl. By 3:15 she gets back up onstage for a brief slut dance before getting back on the mic. "Woohooo! What's up Chicagoooooo?!?" Her bodyguard is near her in case she stumbles off the stage. "Who's bisexual???" (cheers from guys! Huh?) "I'm bisexual, I loooooove me some women! Woooooo!!!!" If I wasn't so busy taking pictures I would have raised up my hands. She then says something about being sober (referencing her recent reality show), then stumbles off backstage.
For all my disdain of dumb vacuous blondes, I absolutely adore her.
