Okay guys, this Friday May 1st is the big day... this month's cover story and all around awesome producer/DJ Terrence Parker will be coming from Detroit to rock Chicago! He will be at Zentra Nightclub along with Rees Urban, Rhyno and Vinsanity and it's going to be one heck of a night. Seriously. He can beat juggle, scratch and play the most awesome inspirational House music. He throws in lots of Gospel tracks, and I'm a big sucker for that!

Not only that, but me and my brother from another mother Carlos will be teaching a free House Dance class at the club from 10pm-11pm! You don't need to get on any list for that, just walk on in and tell them you're there to get your House on :)

The party was fun fun fun, all 3 DJs giving us wildly varying looks and all with a great sense of humor. It wasn't a packed house, but fun nonetheless.

And then of course there was also my good friend Raw Food Chris, who actually looked like he could get away with wearing that baby doll dress on a regular night.

Okay folks, this Thursday April 23rd is the big day! My beloved concept "DJS IN DRAG!" is finally happening at our Thursday residency URBAN'S HOUSE @ Betty's Blue Star. Uncle Milty, Mr. Wonderful & resident DJ Rees Urban will be dragging it out for you (along with my good friend Raw Food Chris) all night long! Rees just tried on a bunch of my clothes tonight, and though I wanted to strangle him (why do boys complain so much? They didn't know it was hard being slutty did they?).... we found a winner. A long green dress, fishnets and wig shopping tomorrow. Lord knows what the other DJs will be rocking, I hear Mr. Wonderful has some booty-shorts action going.

So with all that said, I better see you all this Thursday dammit!!!

This past Saturday I had the awesome honor of interviewing Frankie Knuckles at his beautiful home. He graced our cover over 2 years ago, and he will be on our June cover once again to support his upcoming July 2nd party. He is really one of the most elegant, well-spoken men I have interviewed.

Afterwards an old friend of his (the well-known photographer Ernest Collins), came in with his makeup artist to take photos of Frankie. Frankie's manager Frederick Dunson then came in loaded with food that he had made along with Frankie, and we all had dinner: greens, corn bread, macaroni and cheese and 2 kinds of pie. It was absolutely delicious, and I was so grateful for the incredible hospitality Frankie and Frederick showed me.
