October issue release party on the southside

Monday: Green Dolphin, Tuesday: Lava Lounge and The Note, Wednesday: The Dating Game and The Note, Thursday: Visionz, Bravo, Stooges (don't ask), Bungalow and Smart Bar, Friday: Zentra and last and definitely not least... the October issue release party. My buddies Angie and Face both hosted this awesome party at a humongous virgin loft space, and the DJ sets were broadcast live on Chicagohouseradio.com. Endless nonsensical "Hey do you remember me?" conversations aside, we all had a blast. We then ended the night at the Prophouse, and DJ Stoney was kind enough to switch the format from hip-hop to House for us :)

Saturday we hit up Dave Maze's party at the Red-I, then go to this awesome afterset house party waaay on the southside (105th) called Da Basement. You literally go down the basement and have a banging party complete with a full bar, and an awesome bartender who didn't really know how to make drinks but willing to make you very drunk. Sunday is Subterranean and Betty's and more afterhour delights. Monday I pull an all-nighter like a good girl to finish my magazine work, then get up and go to traffic court because pigs have to eat.
