Radio Show and Last Minute Speech

Wednesday night me and my man Rees tape the 5 Magazine radio show for ChicagoHouseRadio.com, which I've been slacking on for a long time. We tape at Lloyd Dev's, then head on over to the Dating Game for early night festivities. Friday night we have an awesome time at Brett and Nicky of D'Vine One Enterprises' 1 year anniversary party at Leo's Den, then head on over to Zentra to hear the always fabulous DJ Spinna. Saturday night I spend running around from party to party dropping off magazines at Lego's thing @ Darkroom, Africa Hi-Fi @ Sonoteque, and Ronda's party @ Room 43. I'm tired and stressing because I have to write my acceptance speech for an upcoming awards ceremony. They are videotaping me do it the next day and I'm not prepared. We end the night at Smart Bar and I am beyond bored. (Good thing: I got a card and flowers for Sweetest Day! Finally!)
I will be receiving an Outstanding Filipino Achievement Award in the Performing Arts on Nov. 3rd by the Filipino community here. I am very excited and honored. So Sunday afternoon all the awardees had their 1 minute speeches videotaped so they can be played on these giant screens the day of the awards ceremony. I got all dressed and made up, stared at my last minute speech till I went blind, and did my best impression of forever glamour in front of the camera.
