If you thought Ron Carroll of Minister of Sound Productions and Body Music Chicago (BMC) was already a dominator in the House music industry, just wait until he opens his world tour on August 28th.
Set to kick off in Europe, BMC's Electric Lover Tour is going to be a live DJ-set tour continuing on to Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Australia before eventually returning home to Chicago in November. Equipped with live dancers and other entertainment on stage, Ron plans on performing five to six songs off of his Electric Lover album - all which he produced except for "Come Join My Fantasy," subsequently produced by his sister, Alva - as well as, a few of his classics like "Back Together" and "Lucky Star". Ron adds, "Get ready for the biggest song in the world, 'The Nike Song,'" which is to be the first single released off of the album.
It wouldn't be a Ron Carroll affair unless legendary vocalists like Robin S. and CeCe Peniston (set to perform her new release "I'm Feeling U") were in the mix as well. They will both be joining him at various dates throughout the tour.
Ron plans on having a huge party when the tour hits Chicago, and is still working out all of the details. Make sure to visit www.myspace.com/ bmcevents for more information in the near future.
