Look At You isn't a new label - it's been in rotation since pressing their first master about 13 years ago. It is however a new Chicago label. DJ Dealer has been a resident in our city for just over a year after relocating from Denver in 2008, and LAY really took the city's DJs by storm. After some great releases from Dealer, Uncle Milty and others (including LAY's latest release by Dealer and Cyon Flare, "Fire"), and top-notch A&R, design, marketing, and other (often overlooked) aspects of the recording industry, Look At You is our selection as Label of the Year.

Other labels receiving consideration include T's Box, Large and Dust Traxx Chicago.
