One set and he blew us away, and now you can check him out too. Chicago native Cameron Da DJ will add another residency (in his third city) to his belt starting January 12, 2007 when he sets up shop at the Rails Marketing Group's jackin' Friday nights at the Prophouse (11pm-4am, 1675 N. Elston).
"I was born and raised on Chicago's Southside and moved to the NYC area in 1994," he told us. "My flow is best described as hard soul. I love a good vocal and deep beat and driving bassline."
Bernard from the Rails is bringing Cameron in once a month to join mainstay Craig Loftis and another monthly resident, DJ Sedrick. His other residencies include Temple Sundays, We Love House NYC, and Saturdays at Starlite Lounge in NY and DC's Heaven at Pacha Lounge. He's also producing songs with West End Records and is itchin' to get started in the footsteps of Sedrick, Loftis and frequent Rails' guest DJ Karizma. "My goal is to rebuild the House following at Prophouse Fridays."
