+ Charles Dockins: "I Gotcha Back"
:: Morehouse
I first heard this from the Groove Junkies during a set at WMC. It had me hooked right off the bat. Most tunes might require an additional listen but not this. A wicked electric piano accompanied by a synth playing throughout grabs you as soon as it comes in followed up with some spoken words care of Mr. Dockins himself. This track is hypnotic, jazzy and very contagious in every way. I suggest the Groove Junkies Edit for maximum floor action. If you like your beats a bit darker and on the techy side, rock out to the Raw Dub or the Raw Dubstrumental mixes.
