I'm also not sure about the release info on this one, but hopefully it gets a wide release. It's downtempo and shows off some virtuoso work on the ivories. Actually, I'm not sure "downtempo" is a great description - with a little touch on the pitch control, I think any Deep House DJ could stick this in their set. I'll make the unpopular statement here that Deep House can sometimes leave me feeling bored - the last thing I really want to feel at a club is ready to sleep! This on the other hand just has an ebullience that pushes through; the kind of sunny optimism that was once a staple of soul music but seems to be a lost art. And did I mention it does this without one word being spoken? Talented production by an up-and-coming producer.
