More and more often these days, labels are holding off on vinyl and offering singles and mixes in a digital-only format. That's the case with Frankie Knuckles and Jamie Principle's "Because of Your Love", available on traxsource.com. If it sounds like there's a familiar groove to this song, you're not going stir crazy from the wintertime blues (yet): Groove Junkies packed up the old Knuckles and Principle collaboration "Your Love" and emerged from the studio with this dub. It has "instant classic" written all over it, and not just because it's based on one. Jamie's vocals are predictably on the mark here, slithering around a bright groove that's guaranteed to get a show of hands up in the air. Principle's spoken word recitation gives the track some length; I'd be surprised if there were many DJs out there that were spinning this for less than the full 6:56.
