+ Fred Everything ft. Karl the Voice - "For Your Pleasure" (2008)
:: Lazy Days
"For Your Pleasure" was the first Fred Everything production that I really checked out, so it was indeed a pleasure to learn in our interview last month that he was going back and remixing it. Karl The Voice has always been a severely underrated vocalist in my opinion he's got a tone, that sweaty and just a bit hoarse combination that sounds like classic House to me. In "For Your Pleasure 2008", Fred puts an interesting spin on the old groove (I'm assuming here that the most logical explanation is true, and "Frederico Todos", Spanish for "Fred Everything", is indeed Fred and this isn't an amazing coincidence). The dub mix just comes at you in a wave completely non-distinct at first but building in a slow drive toward serious energetic dance music.
