This is a bonus track off the Green Velvet featuring Russoul Walk EP (see Gant Garrard story in this same issue), but I liked it enough to judge it on its own merits. From the stripped down beat to the spelling of the title, this is clearly intended to be an homage to Chip E.'s "Time 2 Jack," which Cajmere's played every time I've heard him DJ since the closing date of SummerDance '06. The tune also incorporates the signature "popping" sound of "Perculator", which is always fun to revisit. It's so simple and yet so effective, sounding like a gimmick at first but with the hypnotic ability to get into the back of your mind when you least expect it.
