:: King Street Sounds
Heather Johnson finally drops a long overdue solo album with her often paired label, King Street Sounds. Heather is best known for being the lead singer of the group Ananda Project next to producer Chris Brann. Over the years she has proven herself time and time again from being remixed by Blaze, Louie Vega, Miguel Migs and King Britt to singing background vocals for Mary J. Blige, Yolanda Adams and Gerald Levert. Her debut album features twelve tracks and includes productions by Frankie Feliciano, Rasmus Faber, DJ Spen and Tomo Inoue. This is a great release that shows Heather's expressive vocals on different plateaus including a cover of Sade's "Love Is Stronger Than Pride".
