Drop Music is still at it after all these years with their 66th release. One of UK's finest House labels (run by House maestros Inland Knights - discogs, myspace, lastfm) changes gears a bit with this release and brings us an EP with more of a deep tech vibe. This two tracker features Inland Knights' cut "Another Way" which like all IKs' work is produced extremely well and sits thick sonically across the sound spectrum. The vibe on this cut is a dark and ominous with droning deep bass, but nice funky house beats to keep with their signature House hand. You will hear lots of reverb and delay trickery which has become quite the fad among techier style of House these days. The compliment cut is Larry Fives ft. Nica Brooke on "No Resistance". Another tech fueled vibe accompanies Nica's jazz trained vocal style on this tune. Minimal sounds, freaks, and tweaks permeate this release. If you are a fan of Drop Music then you will definitely like this record - a departure from the usual Drop sound, but still maintaining the essence that makes it Drop Music.
