:: Drop Music
After almost a two year hiatus from putting out an original EP, the Inland Knights are back on the attack with their new vinyl release on home label Drop Music with The Bump EP. The A side "Reality Check" is a solid beat workout incorporating the midland moves that they flex, with a bit of a techy edge up through the first break which then kills it with a repetitive funk vocal that pushes your feet. On the flip they give us future House motion maker "Bite Back" featuring the vocal stylings of Autin, TX's J.A.M.O.N. who made his break out appearance on my Spatula City Records #SPAT015 alongside famed Bulgarian producer KiNK. Excellent production alongside a grabbing vocal makes this tune a mainstay on the House mix. To accompany this tune is the Larry Fives remix. Larry Fives, otherwise known as Laurence, otherwise known as one half of Inland Knights, and otherwise known as head honcho of Drop Music, comes with an uppity synth driven remix of Bite Back. This remix compliments the EP nicely and rounds it out for another solid joint from Drop Music. It's to see that Drop is back on track and all is good in the world.
