:: Bargrooves
If you like Jay-J's originals, then it's simple: get these 2010 Mixes and the floor will be happy. Besides revisiting "Keep on Rising," there's a hot Vocal Mix from Husky of the awesome entity that is Random Soul. Between Latrice's lament that "Troubles out there try to break me, so hard to find some positivity" and the bright sax, this is the mix to play for the vocal emotion. Jay-J's Shifted Up Dub has some drum and horn stabs with a sharp echo layered over, plus a short relaxing break with sliding strings. The Shifted Up Mix is a nice mid-point between the other two; it has some of the vocals (rather than just snippets) but still keeps the energy of the Shifted Up Dub.
