+ Mr. Cubanix: The Break Through EP
:: Device Records
Once upon a time, House Music producers thrived on being original, taking audio risks, and exploring various soundscapes and voices. This is what comes to mind when listening to Mr. Cubanix's latest. There are three distinctive tracks on the this EP. All three have layered musical personalities that will excite any dancefloor.

"Hot Steppa" is the first track. The bassline is intensely driving: this will remind you of the classic basslines from the Golden Era of Chicago House Music. It is an instrumental track that doesn't have too many changes, yet it is not a boring piece. If you have any essential acapellas, this is the perfect track to use for a great blend or mash-up.

The second track on the EP, "Break Through" is a fluid and seductive instrumental. This is an essential track to start-off a hot mixtape or dance set. Even better, this is the perfect track to use as a "launch track" to introduce an anthem track. Don't sleep on this hottie! This sucka can be played all the way through on a mix tape.

The third installment on the EP is "Gosando." This track is a Latin-flavored musical thunderstorm. Right from the first measure, you can feel the rise in intensity. This track sounds even better if you can apply any degree of a delay and reverb combination.

Mr. Cubanix is one of the few House producers who can make STRONG dance tracks without the aid of vocals. This producer is destined to make major dance anthems in the very near-future. You heard it from me first.
