+ Phil Asher presents Phlash and Friends: "Look at What We've Done"
:: Archive (Italy)
Phil Asher records a soothing piece of deep House bliss at it's finest under his "Phlash & Friends" moniker for Italian label Archive, following up his "Revolution = Solution" release, featured on the Gilles Peterson In The House compilation. This tune is ideal for an early hour set. In addition to the vocals, the standout element for me was the electric violin, which is seldom heard in House tracks and really adds a beautiful touch. Also included is an instrumental for those looking for a stripped down version.

Flip the release for some Latin-influenced percussion on "Minotaur". There's a bit more energy on this track but no vocals or vocal samples here, so if you're looking for something a bit dubbier this might be for you
