:: Strictly Rhythm
This single from Quentin's album No Politics released earlier this year on Strictly gets the remix treatment from Italian duo, Daddy's Groove, the always-on-fire Groove Assassin, Z Records front-man Joey Negro as well as a new mix by Mr. Harris.
The Daddy's Groove remixes are a bit more on the commercial progressive side and the QH remix is nice but falls a bit short of outdoing the vibe of the original. Go for the Groove Assassin remix if you like the elements of the original with bit more energy and flair. He keeps the bassline which is my favorite part and adds some shuffly drums and signature effects and edits to keep the track flowing at nice pace as well as proper mix-in and mix-out. The Joey Negro vocal mix is the most soulful of the lot with a brand new speed-garage style bassline, beautiful pads and keys, the whole nine. Splendid remix work here to flip the script from the original and work it into a perfect peak time jam!
