+ Shur-i-kan ft. Alexander East: "Simply Yes"
:: Lazy Days
Here's a collaboration that I would never expect to pair together, however these two multi-talented artists make this release a wonderful thing. Remixes are featured by label bossman Fred Everything and New Zealand's Magik Johnson as well as a bonus dub remix in digital format. On the other hand the vinyl release has another track titled "The House We Built" - a deep joint with a noddy bassline and moody pads. "Simply Yes" has a mellow yet groovy vibe and Alexander East's vocals are smashing. All mixes use the same bassline yet vary a bit with the drums and effects so you can find a version to work easily into your set. If you want something a bit trackier give a listen to MJ's dub.
