Smooth Touch ft. G-Sax :: "Mountain High"/"10 Minutes of Pleasure"
Review by Terry Matthew | Published February 2008 | Review Archives
"Mountain High" features a thick and a little corny sounding horn riff from G-Sax. I'm mentioning this because it's mixed so loud that if there's anything else going on in the mix, I'm not aware of it. This is seriously like a song that your parents used to slow dance to in the 1970s. We usually stress the positive here, but I'm at a loss to find a ray of light in this one. The flip is "10 Minutes of Pleasure", which also features a sax but isn't nearly as cloying as the first. It's more on the chill-out side, though - while the other might be playable by a club DJ with a strong sense of humor, the only kind of dance this one will probably inspire is some kind of avant-garde.
