Did you know journalists create most of the words we used to describe music? It was a journalist that thought up "heavy metal" - and if you've ever met a live, breathing producer that uses the word "electronica", you've met one more than I have. But it's releases like this that lead to language abuse. I've been enjoying some of the new trends bubbling under the surface of House, but I'm at a loss to describe 'em. Of course, there's nothing new under the sun, and if you liked the wild experimentation of 1990s Chicago House, you'll dig the energy of the new jacks on the block. This track awesomely funky and finds a groove in the quirky samples that their spiritual forefathers in Chicago did. It's good stuff, a little too chaotic for some but just fine for me.
