Right at the deadline, I was able to grab one of the tracks from EP One from the UK's Illusion Recordings. I look forward to hearing more from this label as it's rumored they are acquiring a stable of international artists. One of them, Philly deep house maestro Sean Thomas (Sound Between Movement), takes you on a delicious fantasy voyage with his new track aptly titled "Fantasizer"! As has been his trademark on most of his dozen plus releases since the late '90s, Sean teases his audience with anticipation and teaches them to be patient since his gradual build of layers will pay off with their fantasies being realized. While certainly not an instrumental, the unattributed vocals (Sean? samples? one of the Philly divas?)... sorry, vocal "snippets" really serve to accent and complement this hypnotic ride as well placed keys and percussion round out Sean's orÉ is it your, fantasy? Mr. Thomas' offering ensures that only the fantasizer knows for sure!
