Bounce House
trevor vichas

This release on the Short Bus Kids' label is quality all round. However, if you only had five bucks and desperately needed new music and a roll of toilet paper, you could live without the Redeye Dub (leaving you a buck or two for the t.p.). But why do that when last night's pizza box would work instead? Then you'd have an extra buck for more music! If you like a dab bleepy-bloopy in your House, plus a dash of repeating vocals, all of these remixes will work - they're fun, funky, and will give you twitchy toes! My top choice is the Amit Shoham Remix because it commands my hips to feel each beat (left, right, left, right) but then on the 8-count? Ye-ah... there's a little dip for ya! Wait for the funky bassline about a third of the way into this one and you're golden. It's definitely deeper than the Short Bus Kids Remix though not necessarily deep when taken on its own. The dash of dirt in the SBK version makes me scrunch up my nose, like when you try to push a poop out but it's just not movin'. Last but not least, 3 C's Very Deep Dub is tricky - it makes you think it's intense, but then the deepness surrounds and ... ooooh ye-ah, right there, that's what you need - those pearly whites, those ivories. Man! Ooo-ee!
