This is an interesting experiment from DjL and Toto Chiavetta from Italy. "House is a Feeling" is destined to get some heavy rotation simply based on the anthemic sample, but the heavy and complex percussion is what makes it a real trip. To call it "tribal" is a bit of an understatement - it sounds closer to the avant garde than Yoruba - and this is pure, unadulterated drumlove. While sure to stop some sets dead in their tracks, the more adventurous and talented should be able to rock this. Honestly I'd find it hard to go the full 6:38, but you can even imagine some purveyors of harder sounds jumping on this around the 3:50 mark.
