New Mix Monday is our new exclusive internet feature, with weekly mixes from some of the biggest names in House Music as well homegrown Chicago products. This week, we're very pleased to feature a new mix from the duo Danism.
Danism is the hit-making collaboration between Dan Gresham (aka Dan Nu:Tone) and Dan Liquid (aka Dan Smith of Liquid People). Whether you know this UK-based duo by name or not, they're responsible for some of the best nights of your life through scorching tracks such as "One Life", "Trouble in Paradise" with vocalist Sean Williams on Tony Records the irresistible vocal banger "Light Up My Life" on MN2S with vocalist Kathy Brown.
Their latest release on MN2S, Afterdark EP III was reviewed in our November 2008 issue and on sale now (give it a listen here on Traxsource). In addition to their output for MN2S, Danism have released material on labels such as Defected, Slip & Slide, and Tony Records. They remixed Soul Central's "Strings Of Life" in 2004, and have more recently remixed the likes of Blaze (Slip & Slide), Groove Junkies (MoreHouse) and Lisa Millet (Code Red).
