Our New Mix Monday tagline says that we feature "the best House Music DJs on the planet". This week, the man we're featuring has been described by Ralph Lawson of the seminal 20:20 Vision label as "one of the best House DJs on the planet". So it's natural that we're featuring Fred Everything in the first October 2009 installment of New Mix Monday, 5 Mag's signature House Music mix series.

Fred Everything (myspace, label, discogs, podcast, twitter) was born in Hull and reared in Quebec City, Canada. He got his start in the industry not as a DJ but playing live sets at electronic music shows and raves (you can read my August 2008 interview with Fred Everything here).

Years later, he has a score of top remixes and productions under his belt and is one of the most in-demand production hands in the industry. He's released three full-length artist albums (the latest, Lost Together, released on OM Records in the Summer of 2008 and featuring collaborations with Roy Davis Jr, Tortured Soul, Tim Fuller and N'Dea Davenport). His latest release is a collaboration with JT Donaldson featuring Aima The Dreamer on titled "Memories", released on his own Lazy Days imprint.
