Welcome to this week's edition of New Mix Monday, 5 Magazine's signature DJ mix series. For this week, we're featuring the man of the hour, Chicago producer, DJ and Farris Wheel Recordings impressario Gene Farris and a special mixed compilation of tunes from the Farris Wheel Recordings catalog.

Gene was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. After several years in Amsterdam, we're glad to have him back. As a recognized leader in the industry, Gene tours frequently but still plays at least once a month for the hometown crowd.
