inland knights

Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie are the Inland Knights, one of the most respected House Music production duos in the business. After originally meeting in 1993, Andy and Laurence worked together for some years as DJs, producers and remixers, forming the acclaimed Drop Music label in 1998 which has released quality music from the likes of James Curd, Jay West, Kinky Movement, The Littlemen and loads of their own releases. In 2008, Drop celebrated 10 years of releases with the triple CD Dust Til Dawn: 10 Years of Drop Music and their own mixed CD with Olivier Desmet, San Francisco Sessions Vol 6 on comp label Om Records. The latest cut on Drop is Inland Knight's funky Raise Up, out on traxsource now.

We've been working out an appearance with Inland Knights in this space for some time, and I don't think you're going to be disappointed. This mega mix clocks in at nearly three hours recorded live @ Subject in Sheffield. Since web players get a little wonky after an hour or so, you may wish to download the raw MP3 below if you experience any trouble playing it here, or add the audio feed in iTunes.

The Inland Knights will be appearing in Cape Town and Durban, South Africa this coming weekend; for booking information, contact Elite Music Management. To get in touch, you can look 'em up on facebook, myspace and twitter or sign up for their mailing list here.

And for more mixes, radio shows, podcasts from more of the greatest House Music DJs on the planet, check out past episodes of New Mix Monday, the 5 Magazine Radio Show and everything in one place at our audio archives page.
