Welcome back to 5 Magazine's New Mix Monday, our weekly DJ mix series featuring the greatest House Music DJs on the planet.

For our 5 Year Anniversary Issue, we decided to pay tribute this month to pay tribute to four of the many Chicago DJs who are gettin' down and dirty in this city - working in the trenches, so to speak - and playing a multitude of venues, in every part of the city, in front of different crowds to keep House Music alive.

This week, we're featuring John Simmons (facebook, myspace, twitter). John current holds down two weekly residencies (Fridays @ Salud Tequila Lounge, Saturdays at Red Canary), and previously did this mix for us here.
