Rounding out our September roster of House Music mixes - and just in time! - here's a special bonus mix for our New Mix Monday series featuring remixer, producer and DJ extraordinaire Jon Cutler of Distant Music.

Jon (myspace, discogs, facebook) made his name golden around the world for his signature DJ sets and productions, most notably his 2001 collaboration with Eman, "It's Yours" on Chez Music. "It's Yours" became a dance music anthem, climbing to #1 on DJ Magazine's Hype Chart and #29 on the overall UK pop charts.

Jon's also worked with industry folks such as Matthias Heilbronn, Jocelyn Brown, Michael Watford, Vanessa Freeman and more. The founder of Brooklyn-based label Distant Music, in July 2009 the imprint's Distant Music Vol 1 compilation hit #1 on traxsource.

Jon's in-demand remixes are prized by DJs for their uncanny ability to move a dancefloor. Among the multitude of artists he's remixed for are Kerri Chandler, Copyright, Kim English, Bob Sinclar, and Tortured Soul.
