Welcome to this week's edition of New Mix Monday, 5 Magazine's signature DJ mix series. This week, we're very proud to feature a brand new mix from Chicago House Music and underground legend, the one and only Paul Johnson.

5 Magazine has interviewed Paul before (several times, actually), so we won't repeat his resumé here. Suffice to say that Paul has released probably more music, including the miles of tape that made up his more than 200 underground EPs, than probably anyone in the history of Chicago's House Music scene. In addition, he edits just about every track he plays - he calls them "Paul Johnson's Get to the Point Edits" - either through simply trimming them down or rearranging the track. He's an unchallenged master of making beats and his prodigious ways show no sign of slowing down - look out for his latest, "World Feel It" and "Everybody Go Crazy" on Sonrisa Records shortly.
