Welcome back to 5 Magazine's New Mix Monday, our weekly DJ mix series featuring the greatest House Music DJs on the planet. This week we're featuring a new set from Belfast-based DJ, producer, and owner (with Sean Grieve) of Seven Music, Scope.
Scope (aka Ric McClelland) first came to my attention four or five years ago, when he released a fantastic series of EPs on Leigh Morgan's Urbantorque label. After three or four eclectic releases on Chicago's Large Music, Scope released his Seven Reasons LP two weeks ago. Ric is also a member of South West Seven with label partner Sean Grieve of Seven Music (guessing it's a lucky number there).
