Andre Harris

+ Bio: Regarded as one of the top up-and-coming DJs and producers in Chicago, Andre Harris is renowned for his peak-hour sets, high energy DJ style and silky smooth productions. He began spinning at age 12, and had his first residency at the infamous Rainbow Roller Rink at age 14. He's been a resident at the equally notorious Medusa's (a northside venue catering to a young and mixed crowd of white, black and latino, presaging the oncoming rave era in the early 1990s), Elixer, Spybar and Ohm, and currently holds down the Saturday "Radio Paradiso" residency at the downtown Chicago lounge La Pomme Rouge.

As a producer, Andre's first released recording was 1997's "I Can't Take It/Ain't it a Groove" which was licensed to Cajual Records, appearing on the A Taste of Cajual mixed CD, which is generally considered to be the most successful House Music compilation CD of all time. Since then, his productions and remixes have appeared on Large Records, OM, Nervous and Mark Grant's Blackstone Recordings. Andre was also ahead of the curve on recognizing the potential of digital-only releases; many of his current releases are on his own Innate Soul Digital imprint.
