The funky one known as Diz has been a part of the Chicago House Music scene from the early days, from the dancefloor listening to the likes of Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy to becoming a fixture behind the decks in the legendary Wicker Park loft scene of the 1990s. As a DJ, he's best known for his ongoing residency at Boom Boom Room; as a producer, for his releases on Classic, Igloo, Amenti, Greenskeepers Music, OM and Balance.

In this video, Diz talks about his first party (Frankie and Jamie at Mendel), his world famous collaborations and his residency at the longest running House Music residency in the world, Boom Boom Room.
