You might know him as Gant-Man, Gant Garrard, General Juke or just plain old Gant. In the House scene, he traveled the world when he was still just a teenager and released his first Dance Mania record when he was just 15, while his Bang Tha Box Recordingz is a powerhouse label in the Juke scene. His edit of Beyonce's "Check On It" was also considered the first Chicago Juke remix released by a major label.
In this video, Gant talks about his days as a House Music prodigy on the radio at age 10 on WKKC and the origins of Ghetto/Juke/Booty House. With his background in both House and Juke, Gant's provided not one but two tracks from each of his personas for your pleasure.
