What is The Project?

We wanted to do something special for the Five Year Anniversary of 5 Magazine - something for the community, and something which has never been done before.

 

We wanted to create a multimedia project documenting the producers who are making Chicago move NOW, in 2010, with in-depth interviews and features. We wanted to include a track from these artists as well.

 

And we wanted to give it away completely free. read more...

This is the place you've heard about: 5 Magazine's Five Year Anniversary Project, featuring video interviews with and free tracks from 40 producers who keep Chicago House Music moving now, in 2010.

 

To celebrate our 5th year of publishing 5 Magazine, we sat down and interviewed 40 of Chicago's House Music producers, and also asked them to contribute a free track download to show the world what Chicago House Music is all about.

 

And yes, this is completely free. If you'd like to show your support, share it with your friends (there are links on every page), tell the artists if you like their tunes, and, if you chart it anywhere, let us know!
