Ron Trent was still in high school when he created "Altered States" - one of the classic electronic recordings of all time - and he hasn't let up ever since. His label Prescription Records (co-founded with Chez Damier) released numerous staples of the 1990s including records by Peven Everett, Luke Solomon, Anthony Nicholson and Abacus, and he's done the same with his more recent imprint, Future Vision.

In this video, Ron pays tribute to the people who came before him (including his father, a record pool director), the generation of producers he came up with and his own unique means of artistic expression.
