Since the 1990s, Ghetto House and Juke pioneer DJ Slugo has been slinging wax, with somewhere close to 20 releases on seminal Chicago House label Dance Mania and mixtapes that showed up at every corner shop in the city.

In this interview, he talks about his evolution from old school Chicago House to Ghetto House, the differences between Ghetto House and Juke and the day he learned he could cuss on a House record.
